Adventures in the Catskills

For any golfers, we're heading to the hidden gem of the Catskills, Shepherd Hills. This 9-hole mountain course in Roxbury and was originally a wedding gift from Jay Gould's daughter to her husband, Finley Shepherd. 

Check In Begins at 4pm

Dinner and Drinks at the Air BNB. 

Located down the longest dead-end road in NY, this brewery offers great beers, 

mountain views, and food trucks.

If you want to head over early, there's a 1 mile 

hike to a diamond notch falls.

5:30pm Dinner reservation at the Peekamoose Restaurant and Tap Room. Great food and beverage selection and only 10 minutes from our air bnb. When I first moved up the Catskills I worked here, where I banged the owners nanny, then the hostest, then the manager, and Im still welcomed there. 

For those who are feeling adventurous the Colonial Inn awaits! You'll enjoy the cheap drinks, taxidermy, uneven chairs, parrots, free jukebox, amenable locals, pool table, outdoor porch with old couches, dogs and parrots. 

For those who don't want the night to end or have one more story to tell, the fire pit awaits.
